All of my manicures and pedicures are carried out with meticulous but safe cuticle work, gentle e-filing and top salon products to ensure your skin and nails are refreshed, hydrated and looking gorgeous.  A calm and unrushed service is a must, as I strive to achieve a relaxing and stress free experience for you to enjoy.

Complimentary beverages and snacks are included with a wide choice of coffees, tea, herbal teas, hot chocolate and filtered, chilled water. Oat milk is also available for those who cannot have dairy.

These services also include a complimentary The Nail Palette Essential Cuticle Oil, and there are larger bottles to purchase if you wish and they also make a great gift.

An amazing range of colours are available if you would like some colour after your Luxury Manicure or Pedicure.  It is not advised to have any kind of LED/UV light cured gel or acrylic products applied immediately after these services due to the risk of lifting from the natural nail.  Therefore, a standard air dry polish can be applied which can be removed with normal nail polish remover. 

 Of course, you can always come back the next day for gel or acrylic once the nails are fully dry.

This kind of polish is cured under LED/UV light and is applied in several thin layers.  Starting with a coat of both primer and bonder, then base coat, then 2 or 3 layers of Gel Polish, then top coat.  The result is a smooth, shiny, hard wearing polish that is immediately dry.  Lasting up to 3 or 4 weeks, it can be removed professionally by your nail tech, with gentle electronic filing and 100% acetone.

This is also the perfect nail product for your nail art designs.  Show your creativity and personality with intricate nail designs and embellishments, just remember to bring your inspo pics!

CND Shellac is a hybrid between nail polish and gel polish.  It is cured under UV light, so will harden and dry instantly, but can be soaked off at home with Acetone far more easily than Gel, Polygel, Builder Gel or Acrylic.  

Perfect for those who want a short wear for a special occasion or weekend, change their nails more often or do not have the time for lengthy removal processes.

It has the same application process as for Gel Polish but there are less colour options.  Nail art can still be applied.  This is a really good option for healthcare workers and busy mums, for example.

Known as 'BIAB' or 'Builder In A Bottle' due to a popular brand name, Builder Gel is the exact same thing.  Builder gel can give a beautiful, natural appearance to nails and help them to grow longer by providing more strength than normal gel polish.  However, gel polish can also be added if you want additional colour or nail art.  It is also excellent for very short nails or nail biters who are trying to grow their nails out.

A full cover set of gel extensions (known as Gel-X on social media) are perfect for those who prefer a lighter feeling nail than acrylic.  They are UV/LED cured into place with a gel (not nail glue) so withstand water better and last longer and soak off easily in acetone. There are many sizes and shapes to choose from.  Gel polish is then painted over the top and cured into place creating the perfect shape nail. Brilliant for nail art.

Acrylic nails are artificial nails created by combining a liquid monomer and a powder polymer to form a paste that is applied to the natural nail, or nail tip, and then shaped into the desired length and form. This hardened acrylic layer provides strength and durability to the nails, making them a popular choice for nail extensions.  Here at The Nail Palette, I use Glitterbels Acrylic and HEMA free Monomer, plus there are some beautiful colours to choose from.

What is IBX?

IBX is a natural nail strengthening system made to Toughen, Repair and Protect the natural nail.

IBX is HEMA Free.

What does it do?

IBX is the first treatment of its kind, IBX works INSIDE the nail not on top. IBX penetrates into the upper layers of the nail and cross-links inside the nail to itself creating an Interpenetrating Polymer Network.

Uses

1. Under Gel Polish IBX will Protect, Repair and Toughen the nail

2. For Natural Nail Growth Treatment IBX will repair and internally toughen the natural nail

3. Use on the new growth area before rebalancing gel or acrylic enhancements.
