Hi, my name is Alex and welcome to my new luxury, garden nail Salon.  At The Nail Palette (named due to my love of nail art), I believe that self-care is an essential part of overall wellness.  As an ex-healthcare professional, I understand the effect that stress has on us both physically and mentally.

My mission is to provide a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience for my clients, a nail service that you can enjoy, not endure.

Complimentary beverages and snacks available including teas, coffees, biscuits, herbal teas and filtered water.  And of course, a good chit chat and a giggle are guaranteed, you can talk to me about anything.....all in total confidence.

I offer a wide range of nail services including luxury manicures, pedicures, gel polish, nail art, builder gel (known as 'BIAB'), acrylic extensions, full gel cover tips (known as Gel-X), CND Shellac and Nail Health Treatments such as IBX and Aceso.

After spending over 15 years working in private and NHS operating theatres, working on COVID ITU in the first wave of the pandemic really took its toll on my mental health.  It's been a big leap to retrain and do something I love.  I still spend a few days a month doing clinical training for healthcare staff, and in my spare time I go wild swimming, I especially love winter swimming without a wetsuit.  I also love spending quality time with the other half and our two beautiful cocker spaniels, Rosie and Freya, who will greet you on arrival!

As a newly qualified nail tech, I am very passionate about my craft, totally dedicated to providing safe, exceptional service and completely obsessed with all things nails.

This is NOT a rushed, high street style, walk in service.  This IS a relaxed time for pain free, damage free nail services, keeping your natural nail health in mind and not just hiding issues under a new set.

My own tailor made The Nail Palette Essential Cuticle Oil is also available, especially developed to keep your cuticles healthy and moisturised and keeps those nails looking great for longer.

I am committed to providing a secure, safe and clean environment for my clients.

I use single use files, hospital-grade disinfectants and Ultra Violet sterilisation on all metal tools after each use.

With my experience of working in Operating Theatres, your physical and mental health and safety is my priority - I am also qualified in First Aid, Basic Life Support/AED and Anaphylaxis Management
